About This Dog for Adoption
Ty's ideal home
Ty is looking for a home with fun loving and active adopters who can take him on adventures, exploring the great outdoors and lots of fun play and enrichment to keep him busy. He can be a little worried by the world, so is looking for adopters who will advocate for him in situations he may find uncomfortable. He can live with children aged 14 years and over are comfortable with a large, playful dog and can give him space to rest when needed. Ty is friendly lad and could live with an established dog who is happy to engage in play and can tolerate his excitable and clumsy playstyle, this will be pending successful meetings at the centre, living with another dog is not a necessity, he would love to have friendly walking buddies, he cannot live with cats or other small furries. Ty will need training and would benefit from puppy classes to teach him all his basics, he would gain the most out of short, sweet sessions and can concentrate for a tasty treat. He has been housetrained in foster care, so may just need a refresher so a private, secure garden is preferred. Due to his age, he will need minimal leaving, especially to begin with, any leaving time would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle into his new home. Ty will need to meet his adopters multiple times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet his within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
Could you be Ty's perfect match?
Meet our Squishy boy Ty, a 6-month-old Mastiff cross with the most playful nature. When it's playtime, he goes bananas for a good game of tug with his fave humans and zooming around after his toys. He can be a little worried by the big wide world, looks to his favourite people for reassurance, once he knows you he is a snuggly lad, and gets all wiggly and silly when having fusses. He loves playing with his four legged buddies, bouncing, pouncing and zooming around, he can get a little clumsy when excited. This loveable lad is looking for his new home.
