About This Dog for Adoption

Graham's ideal home

Graham is looking for a home with loving and active adopters who can take him on sniffy adventures, who will give him all the love and attention he deserves and help him to master some of his basics as he is still a puppy at heart. He can live with children aged 8 years and over who are comfortable with a large, playful dog and can give him space to rest when needed. Graham could live with an established dog who will happily show him the ropes and co-exist with him, this will be pending successful meetings at the centre, living with another dog is not a necessity, he would love to have friendly walking buddies, he cannot live with cats or other small furries. Graham has a little training under his belt, he does a lovely “sit” and is keen to learn more in short and sweet sessions for a tasty treat. He would benefit from loose lead walking training as he is a big strong boy and can pull on the lead when he wants explore further. He was housetrained previously, but may need a refresher in his new home so a private, secure garden is needed. Graham can settle nicely so would be able to be left for up to 2 hours, this would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle into his new home. Graham will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet his within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Could you be Graham's perfect match?

Loveable Graham is an 8 month old Mastiff Cross who loves to snuggle, he will even put his paws in your lap for more, he is quite specific in his preferences, he likes a stroke; not a pat. He likes to bounce about like a goofy puppy and is learning to play with toys, he has discovered that balls are fun, he loves to chase and bap them around, but hasn’t learnt to pick them up yet. He is a foodie boy and adores a tasty treat, he isn’t fussy on the type of treat and will take them gently from the hand, leaving a little slobber behind. This gentle giant is on the hunt for his new home.
