About This Dog for Adoption

Jazz's ideal home

Jazz is a big, bouncy baby who can live with children aged 14 and over as long as they are comfortable with big dogs. She has the potential to live with other dogs and all other pets, following advice from us on how to introduce them safely. Due to her being a stray we don’t know how she is being left alone. We think that Jazz’s leaving hours could be built up to around 4 – 6 hours but this would need building up gradually.

Could you be Jazz's perfect match?

If you are looking for a cure for your blues then you can turn to Jazz! Jazz is our beautiful 18 month old Mastiff cross and she just wants to be your best friend for life. She loves to play and loves to go out exploring on walks and making friends on the way – but most of all she loves fusses!

Dinks's ideal home Dinks would do best in a home where he will be the only dog, but he is coming on leaps and bounds with his confidence around them, so a home that can continue his sociability out and about would be great for him! Mastiff Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Mastiff.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Mastiff Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
