About This Dog for Adoption

Callie's ideal home

Callie can live with upper secondary‑school‑aged children and is happy to meet dogs out and about, but due to being a bit undersocialised, she’s best as the only dog in the home. She has previously lived with a cat so could do so again and could live with small pets if kept fully separate. As she can be a little nervous when people approach her kennel, adopters will need a home where she can be separated from the front door to help her feel secure. Callie also isn’t a fan of being left alone, so her leaving hours will need to be built up gradually. With time, patience, and plenty of love, Callie will thrive in a home that helps her feel safe and supported.

Could you be Callie's perfect match?

Callie is a 2‑year‑old Mastiff cross who may seem a little shy when she first meets new people, but she quickly blossoms into a friendly, affectionate girl. She enjoys all handling, loves kennel cuddles, and is a real foodie who’s always keen to work for treats. Callie likes meeting other dogs and has a lovely calm side, often chilling out happily in her kennel once she’s settled. With her sweet nature and gentle personality, she’ll make a wonderful companion for the right family.

  • Register your interest in adoption on the Dogs Trust website - you can't apply for specific dogs directly.
  • Create an account to favourite dogs you're interested in and help the team understand your preferences.
  • Dogs Trust will match you with dogs that fit your lifestyle and home environment.
  • Some dogs listed here may already be rehomed or reserved, as updates can take time to sync.
  • If matched, you'll go through their adoption and home-check process before taking your new dog home.
