About This Dog for Adoption

Max's ideal home

Meet Max, a charming companion ready to find his forever home! Max is on the lookout for a special place where he can be the star of the show—ideally, a home without any other pets. This will allow him to soak up all the affection and companionship you have to give!

It’s important that his new home understands his background and offers reassurance during those moments when he might feel a little anxious. A calm and supportive environment will help Max thrive and feel secure.

Max would do best in an adult-only home. He appreciates a peaceful setting, away from the hustle and bustle that often comes with children. If you’re someone who can provide a quiet, loving atmosphere where he can relax and feel safe, Max could be the perfect addition to your life!

Could you be Max's perfect match?

Max is an eight-year-old Mastiff Crossbreed who came to us from a hoarding situation involving multiple dogs, many of whom were found to have foreign microchips. Due to this, Max was placed under strict quarantine while we carried out the necessary health checks to ensure they are not carrying any diseases that are non-endemic to the UK.

This process has caused a delay in our usual assessment timeline, and we are still getting to know Max's personality and needs. As such, some of the information we provide may be subject to change.

Despite this, we are very keen to find Max a loving home. If you are interested in adopting him, please apply online today.

Max is a bit shy when it comes to making new friends, but give him a little time and he’ll quickly warm up to you! Once you’ve gained his trust, Max truly shines; he adores the company and all the fuss you can give. New environments can make him feel a bit uneasy, and he’s not too fond of close handling. Max has a healthy appetite and loves his meals, though he’s currently not too interested in toys. With patience and love, Max will undoubtedly become your best friend!
