About This Dog

Dozer's ideal home

Dozer is a lovable boy who has previously lived his life free-range on a farm, so his adopters will need to be understanding and empathetic as he adjusts to home life. He loves plenty of fuss and attention and would enjoy spending time with his people, as well as relaxing in the sunshine and chomping on his favourite squeaky ball. Dozer has previously had a very special friendship with a horse, with the pair enjoying walks and even curling up together!

Dozer must be the only dog in the home. He has lived happily alongside free-range cats and could potentially live with a dog-savvy cat who has plenty of escape routes. He may also be able to live with other animals. Dozer can potentially be left for up to 6 hours with suitable breaks.

Dozer only toilets on grass, so he will need a home with a private garden with grass. He is not used to traffic and can find it worrying, so a home away from main roads would be ideal. Any children living with Dozer should be secondary-school age or older. Younger children can visit.

Could you be Dozer's perfect match?

Dozer is a sweet and affectionate boy who loves attention and enjoys the simple things in life sunshine, his squeaky ball and spending time with his people. His previous farm life means he will need adopters who are patient and willing to help him adjust to a new way of living, but he has lots of love to give.

Could you be the patient and understanding home Dozer is looking for?
