Lanky's ideal home
Lanky is looking for a loving home with a sofa to rest his big paws on. He can live with secondary school children and above who are confident around bigger dogs. Lanky will need to be given space whilst he is eating in the home. He will also need his leaving hours built up slowly at a pace he is comfortable with. Lanky is to be the only dog in the home and his adopters will need to continue dog socials in the home to improve his confidence. He cannot live with cats but can live with small furies if kept separate.

Meet Lanky, our gorgeous goofy 2-year-old Presa Canario x Staffie. Lanky is a big friendly giant who has unlimited love and slobber for everyone he meets. True to his name, Lanky is a big, tall lad who can live with secondary school children who are confident around bigger dogs. Lanky has been friendly with everyone he has met at the centre and loves a fuss from his handlers. His favourite thing to do is stretch his long legs and run around our compound, chasing toys then coming back to his handlers for a cuddle and a bum scratch. This big boy is super keen on his food and did resource guard around raw food and bones in his previous home so we advise he is left to eat privately in the home.
