About This Dog for Adoption

Buck's ideal home

Buck is a 1yr old Staffy Mastiff Crossbreed who is really lacking in confidence with the big wide world, but when he's built a relationship with his friends he's so much fun and super affectionate. He'll be perfect for people who love and understand his breed and are up for spending a bit of quality time settling him into his home and slowly growing his confidence. He'll need a calm and predictable routine so an adult home where he'll be the only pet for now is a must so he can properly find his feet. He'll also need a secure garden so he can refresh his house training.

Could you be Buck's perfect match?

Buck has already proved that he can become a wonderful companion. He is very shy initially but if you give him a bit of space and let him come round in his own time, before you know it he'll be coming to you for fuss! He's got a good brain too and is already doing well with his training. Being very foody will help with any ongoing confidence building and training generally. He's fine around other dogs but not so keen when they're very in his face. He'll be fine to have walking buddies out and about. So add Buck to your favourites if you love big, beefy dogs and have some time to work with us to transition him into a new home and help him learn that world isn't so scary after all.
